For Fall 2024, I had the opportunity to design the print materials for UMBC’s annual Homecoming, a week-long celebration filled with exciting activities, performances, sporting events, and more—all designed to build school spirit and get students energized for the year ahead. The logo and style were developed by Commonvision Designer Rebekah, and I was responsible for building on her concepts and bringing them to life in the final designs. Drawing inspiration from the event’s spooky theme, I built upon the existing assets to create dynamic layouts and establish a clear visual hierarchy that enhanced readability. My designs included a variety of print materials such as banners, flyers, quartercards, posters, bus stop ads, and yard signs—some with a general appearance, and others highlighting the event schedule. Each piece worked to build excitement while maintaining a cohesive look across all formats.
